چکیده
Abstract Wood is a hygroscopic material that can reach an equilibrium moisture content when ambient temperature and relative humidity are constant. Moisture affects all properties of wood, as well its preservative treatment. The behavior wood be attributed to the hydroxyl groups constituents. Since hemicellulose shows greatest water affinity, it considered main responsible for ingress into mass. Below fiber saturation point, only stored in cell walls. Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) method used evaluation distribution NMR relaxation excellent tool study different woods below point. This work aimed test hypothesis discriminating among softwoods hardwoods botanical species identifying further sub-clusters based on proton spin–spin ( T 2 ) spin–lattice 1 times their wall range. Importantly, was performed using portable low-cost instrument with which possible investigate samples any size. result this at RH = 94% time 2,2 , associated bound water, marker discriminate hardwoods. interaction between lidocaine hydrochloride (with and without adrenaline) and various irrigants: a nuclear magnetic resonance analysis
background: interaction between local anesthetic solution, lidocaine hydrochloride (with and without adrenaline), and root canal irrigants such as sodium hypochlorite (naocl), ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid (edta), and chlorhexidine (chx) has not been studied earlier. hence, the purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the chemical interaction between 2% lidocaine hydrochloride (with ...
متن کاملComputational Investigation on Naphthoquinone Derivatives :Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Quantum mechanic
Naphthoquinones are natural aromatic compounds that can be discovered in various plant families. In recent times a diversity of biological activities of these compounds has been reported. In most cases, these pharmacological activities are related to redox and acid-base properties, which can be modulated synthetically by modifying the substituents attached to the 1, 4- naphthoquinone ring, in o...

متن کاملUsing Nuclear Magnetic Resonance to Test Fat Content in Foods
The quickening pace of business caused one of Europe’s leading independent testing laboratories to seek an alternative to the standard solvent extraction/acid hydrolysis (Soxhlet) method for testing the amount of fat in a variety of foods. This contract laboratory, with numerous sites throughout the UK and Ireland, provides quality control analytical services to the food industry. By converting...
متن کاملSegmentation of Magnetic Resonance Brain Imaging Based on Graph Theory
Introduction: Segmentation of brain images especially from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an essential requirement in medical imaging since the tissues, edges, and boundaries between them are ambiguous and difficult to detect, due to the proximity of the brightness levels of the images. Material and Methods: In this paper, the graph-base...
